Jeanologia™ is known to be one of the biggest suppliers of textile machineries to enhance sustainability in denim production. The aim to utilize such machinery is to reduce the usage of water and certain finishing chemicals.
W Denim™ and Jeanologia™ join forces creating an eco-capsule denim collection finished by the LIGHT & ATMOSPHERE .
Both companies are pioneering in techniques and practices based on reducing the use of water, chemicals and energy. The Light & Atmoshere collection has been powered by Jeanologia laser and Ozone Dynamic technologies. With the continues Laser Dynamic the W Denim™ fabrics have been engraved to achieve infinities virtual weavings. Afterwards the fabrics have been washed by the atmosphere through Jeanologia Ozone Dynamic technology, thus reducing up 60% the water consumption. Our group produces Cotton (ring, OE, slub, compact Ne 6/1 – Ne 80/1), Polyester (texturized, pointed and elasthane 50 – 1200D) and special blends (Viscose®, Tencel®, Emana®, Sustans®) in our yarn production facilities with the latest technology equipments. Our yarn units occupy a total area of 291.000m² with 151.000m² factory ground.
Being the main element that differentiates denim from other wovens, our indigo dyeing facilities constitute 3 slasher and 2 rope dyeing units as one of them in operation and another being erected. The current production capacity is 5 million meters and it will further increase up to 7 million by the end of 2016.
